LAND SURVEYING EQUIPMENT Committed to keeping in touch with the latest technology, RJM has secured some of the and most advanced surveying equipment in the civil engineering industry. With our new surveying and GPS equipment, we can provide our services faster, more accurately, and without reliance upon outside contractors to establish our ground control. Our investment in the latest technology helps to ensure that RJM provides our clients with a high level of quality and service, complimenting our local knowledge, experience, and personal attention to our projects. |

TRIMBLE S6 ROBOTIC STATION The S6 allows RJM to complete a field survey with a single surveyor instead of the traditional two-person survey crew. With the automatic robotic tracking system, the S6 quickly and accurately tracks the surveyor, who operates the machine at a distance with the field controller and rod. Now, not only can a survey be performed with just a single surveyor, it can also be performed much faster than with a two-person survey crew on a traditional total station. This means faster surveying and reduced project costs for our clients. Additionally, the S6 has a powerful reflectorless technology, which allows us to take shots on almost any surface without a reflective prism up to a mile away! This allows us to quickly survey trees, buildings, signs, and even power lines to build a highly detailed map of your project. |

TRIMBLE 5800 GPS RECEIVER The Trimble 5800 Global Positioning System receiver now allows RJM to quickly establish benchmarks and survey control with a high degree of accuracy for all of our projects. Previously, we were forced to subcontract the establishment of our survey control, which could result in project delay and additional cost to our clients. Now, with our new GPS equipment, RJM is your one-stop shop for high precision establishment of the survey control for your project. This allows us to reduce our time in the field, lower your costs, and speed up the time it takes to move on to the detailed engineering of your project. |

TRIMBLE TSC2 CONTROLLER The TSC2 controller contains Bluetooth technology which allows a single surveyor to control the S6 Total Station from a distance, controlling surveys and stakeouts remotely. This technology allows one person to run the a boundary or topographic survey, where older technology required two surveys working together for long hours. The controller also operates the Trimble 5800 GPS receiver and has the power to hold information for multiple large jobsites or parcels of land. Designed for high precision construction site measurement and stakeout operations, the controller's software measures, computes volumes, and loads computer aided design files for grade checking applications. |
