RJM has been a key element in the successful conceputal planning and design of three major bike paths projects in Athens County, totalling over four miles. Our involvement from the conceptual planning stages and funding all the way through to final design means that we are well-versed in the challenges that come with bringing these projects to fruition. We are capable of not only providing conceptual plans of different routing options, but we can provide accurate construction budgets for these concepts, which allows you to evaluate the feasibility of your project. We are also experienced in the preparation and obtainment of easements from private property owners as well as assisting our clients with the negotiation of land purchases associated with these projects.
At RJM, we are experienced in the successful preparation and approval of grants for the bike path projects we have been involved in. We have written and obtained on behalf of our clients Transportation Enhancement Grants from ODOT and Clean Ohio Grants from the Ohio DNR. Additionally, we have assisted local individuals in raising matching funding totaling over $135,000 from private companies and other organizations as part of our services.
RJM has been pre-qualified with the Ohio Department of Transportation for over six years. Our pre-qualifications include Level 1 Bridge Design and Non-Complex Roadway Design.
