When it comes to bridge work, the RJM Advantage is not only our ability to design a bridge on paper, but also the experience within the firm that comes from having built bridges in the past. At RJM, we know the realities of bridge building, which means we anticipate the practical concerns that need to be identified and addressed during the design phase before they become expensive problems during construction. Transportation

The professionals at RJM have provided roadway design services for local communities here in southeastern Ohio for more than 18 years.  Pre-qualified with ODOT in non-complex roadway design, we have successfully performed projects for Athens County, the City of Athens, the City of Nelsonville, and Ohio University.  Below is a sample of numerous transportation design projects RJM has completed.

Water and Sewer

RJM Engineering has been providing water distribution system and sanitary sewer collection system design since its first project for the City of Athens in May, 1993, the design of the Greenbrier Street Waterline Replacement Project.  Following are some of the recent projects that have been designed and constructed in the past few years.

Bike Paths and Recreational

RJM has been a key element in the successful conceptual planning and design of three bike paths in Athens County, including one extension of Hockhocking Adena Bikeway in Nelsonville and two extensions in the City of Athens.  In addition to the Bike Path Projects, RJM has experience designing Skate Parks and Playgrounds.
