RJM is responsible for the planning and engineering design of this project for the City of Athens. This project includes 6,200-feet of new bike path along existing public right-of-way from Phase I to a termination point at the eastern Athens City limits near the newly constructed Holzer Medical facility. RJM is responsible for providing the following services associated with this project:
• Preparation of a feasibility study and preparation of cost opinions that were included in TEA
and Clean Ohio grant applications
• Preparation of topographic and boundary surveying necessary to determine right-of-way
limits and property boundaries for adjacent parcels of land
• Preparation of land easements and coordination of ODOT prequalified real estate
consultants required to acquire easements from property owners in conformance with the
Uniform Real Estate Act
• Coordinated the design of a traffic signal installation through an ODOT prequalified traffic
signal consultant
• Management of the engineering design process from conceptual planning through to final
design drawings
• Achievement of all stages of progress within ODOT’s milestone dates
